Our primary mission is sail training, everyone who comes aboard is a crew member and will receive training and instruction to help sail and operate the vessel safely. Each individual participates to the best of their ability within the rotating watch system and the efforts of every member of the ship's company are vital to the voyage. No one is a passenger: everyone works together to help make the voyage a success. No prior experience is necessary; no extraordinary fitness is required.
The yoga is optional, if you prefer not to take the classes that is fine. Although we encourage you to take advantage of this unique opportunity for a yoga session on the deck of a tall ship.

Mystic carries 8,500 square feet of sail in her 12 sails, including square sails on the foremast, and gaff rigged sails on the after two masts. Her main deck is comfortably appointed with a beautiful main salon/dining area, and a lounge (both with wrap-around view). Mystic has wide decks and permanent deck-box seating, full-length on port and starboard. There is plenty of room for conversation, sea gazing, reading, and even fishing when not on watch. Her private double cabins all have individual climate control, viewing porthole, vanity with sink, and storage drawers. All cabins (some with double berths, and others with upper/lower berths) feature luxury mattresses and bedding. There are five shared heads (bathrooms) with sinks, and four separate shower rooms. Two extra showers are located on deck, to wash off sand and salt water.
