Bob Morton has spent the majority of his career as an oceanographer conducting many small and large oceanographic programs around the world. Since retiring in 2001, Bob has spent his time in renewable energy as founder, manager and chairman of Newport Biodiesel, Inc. He also serves as a board member of several regional and national renewable energy boards. Newport Biodiesel now generates more than five million gallons of biodiesel per year.
