Dave Matsuda is a Washington, DC-based transportation consultant with nearly 20 years of experience leading, overseeing and working in federal transportation agencies. He was honored to serve as the Nation’s 17th U.S. Maritime Administrator, where he led more than $1 billion of federal investment into U.S. ports, shipyards and shipbuilding projects, as well as a renewed national focus on maritime education and environmental sustainability. Prior to Dave’s work at the Maritime Administration, he served as Assistant Secretary for Transportation Policy and in the U.S. Senate as a senior policy advisor on transportation. Dave works with public and private organizations of all sizes, providing advice on federal matters and helping clients develop successful marketing, legislative, regulatory, and policy development strategies.
