Track SSV Oliver Hazard Perry
Please note that Oliver Hazard Perry has two different tracking devices. The first map is AIS and works off VHF radio signal, not satellite. This means that it will work regularly within about 30 miles of shore, but signal may be lost when the ship is further offshore, or operating in international waters. When she gets far enough from the US coastline, she will be out of range of this tracking (AIS), so the map will not show updates. You can track the vessel on websites such as Marinetraffic.com and vesselfinder.com
The map below uses satellite data to provide updates when the ship is offshore. These updates will appear every four hours.
We do speak with the ship every day via satellite to get updates about their position, weather, operating conditions etc. so please do not be overly concerned if the ship's position is not always up to date.
